The Lieutenancy of Ireland is sad to learn today Sunday 4 February, of the death of Professor Agostino Borromeo, Lieutenant General of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem.

The Lieutenant and Grand Prior, together with members offer our deepest condolences to his wife, children, family, our Grand Master and members of the Grand Magisterium.

His funeral mass shall take on Tuesday  next at 11.30am in the Chiesa dei Santi Apostoli  a Roma, at which the Grand Master shall preside. 

In his capacity as Governor General he attended ceremonies in Ireland.
