Raphael John Erskine Kelly, KCHS, was introduced to the Order by Eugene Ward, KCHS, in 2013 and went on pilgrimage to the Holy Land in 2014.
He is a Chartered Engineer, linguist and retired Civil Servant; a keen choral singer and double bass player in a late starters’ orchestra.
Raphael serves as Minister of the Word and Minister of the Eucharist in his home parish, St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral in Dublin
The Lay Master is charged with Protocol and Ceremonial and, as a member of Council, advises the Lieutenant on these.
