On Sunday 2nd June 2024 members of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem and Sovereign Order of Malta participated in the annual Corpus Christi procession through central London.
Representives of the Equestrian Order from the Lieutenancies of England and Wales, Ireland, Scotland and Belgium processed in robes and helped carry the decorative Baldaquin.
The solemn procession commenced from Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Maiden Lane the Westminster Diocesean Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament, passing through Trafalgar Square and Picadilly to the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption and St. Gregory, Warwick Street for Adoration of the Blessed Sarcrament.
Thereafter, the procession continued along Oxford Street to the Ukranian Catholic Cathedral and concluded at St. James Catholic Church, Spanish Place where Pontifical Benediction was imparted by His Excellency, Archbishop Miguel Maury Buenida, Apostolic Nuncio to Great Britain.
