Irish Confrère Donnacha Fahy, KHS continues his solo pilgrimage of solidarity visiting Bethlehem and Galilee

To mark the season of Advent, I participated in the solemn entrance of The Church of the Nativity accompanying The Custos, Franciscan brothers and faithful many of whom had travelled from Jerusalem into Bethlehem.

Along the way we were greeted warmly and excitedly by the schoolchildren of St Joseph’s Catholic School as we walked up to the Church of the Nativity.

I spent the afternoon there in the company of Fr Athanasius listening to the monks singing lots of hymns.
