Congratulations to our Confrère John Dominic Dowling, who was recently awarded the Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice Cross by Pope Francis for his lifelong service to the Church.
The award was presented to Dominic, by Archbishop Dermot Farrell, at Archbishop’s House in Dublin before Christmas.
Dominic who is an active parishioner at the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock Parish; spent his early years at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea, Sandymount and has produced and edited The Sheaf, the official publication of St. Joseph’s Young Priests Society, for the past 25 years.
