Knights, Dames and Congregation

Members of the Lieutenancy travelled from all over the island to participate in the annual Pilgrimage to the International Eucharistic & Marian Shrine, Knock, County Mayo on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th January 2023
On Friday evening, Evening Prayer which included Recitation of Psalms and Praying of the Stations of the Cross took place in The Parish Church of St John the Baptist following which Holy Mass was celebrated by Archbishop Emeritus of Tuam, Most Reverend Michael Neary in The Apparition Chapel assisted by Very Reverends’ Francis Mitchell, Derek Darby and Gerard MacCormack.
On Saturday morning, Holy Mass was celebrated by Archbishop of Tuam, Most Reverend Francis Duffy in the Apparition Chapel, assisted by Very Reverends’ Derek Darby, Gerard MacCormack and Fr. Richard Gibbons, Parish Priest of Knock.
Presentations to Aspirants & Promotions
Members of Council gave an introductory presentation to three Aspirants and one new Member Confrere William Fitzpatrick, KHS.
A number of diplomas of promotion were awarded to members following dinner at the Knock House Hotel
