Vigil and Investiture Ceremonies, Maynooth
Booking form in:
the Promotions and Vigil Mass, Chapter Meeting, and Investiture Mass will happen on
Friday 18th and Saturday 19th July 2025 in Maynooth.
Suggestions for Accommodation are as follows
Maynooth Campus:
• Suite is €115 single or €74 per person sharing
• Superior Ensuite is €96 single or €61 per person sharing
• Classic Ensuite €79 single or €52 per person sharing
• Breakfast is an additional €10 per person.
The Voucher Code to use on the website for College accommodation when booking, is OHS_12/24.

Otherwise, we suggest staying at the Glenroyal Hotel & Leisure Club which is 700 metres from the College.

person sharing, or single rooms at €259.
Rates for Meals:
Friday night Lieutenancy dinner in the Glenroyal Hotel: 4 course meal cost of €85 per person including wine.
The cost of the Saturday luncheon in the College is €75, per person, wine included. Booking form attached.
Timings for Maynooth
Friday form up for members in the Cloister is 4.40pm. Vigil Ceremony commences at 5.00pm sharp.
Dinner in the Glenroyal Hotel is 7.15pm for 7.30pm. Seating will be free, except for the top table.
Chapter meeting Saturday morning in the Renehan Room is 9.10am sharp. This will be followed by tea/coffee
for members and guests in the Pugin Room. Form up for the Investiture Mass in the Cloisters at 11.10am. After
Mass there shall be a wine reception. Luncheon shall be in the Pugin Room. Diners to be seated by 1.15pm.
Dress:
Dress for Vigil and Promotion ceremonies is smart casual.
Cloaks will be worn on Friday and Saturday with gloves and appropriate headgear, at the Vigil, Chapter meeting
and Investiture Mass. Morning suit with medals and decorations will be worn on Saturday by Knights and as
appropriate by Dames.
