Notable Irish Members (Historic): John Delaney
John Delaney who died in his 70th. year in September 1911 was a Knight Commander of the Order. He was admitted as a member on 28th September, 1881.
John was a member of Cork Corporation and a builder by trade. He built the Cork Exhibition of 1883, erected the spires of St Finn Barrs Cathedral, the addition to Holy Trinity Church and the extension to the Cork General Post office.
